11/14/06: 7:30 PM PST update from Erwin

Uncle David can sit up in bed now while eating. He ate turkey for dinner, an early Thanksgiving for him. The speech therapist who visited the room today said that he should not drink too many liquids to prevent small amounts of it from going into his lungs. So far, that's it. Other than that, eveything is pretty much stable.

Auntie Dorothy (Uncle David's sister) and Steve (Auntie Dorothy's son) arrived in Reno safely on Amtrak.
